Innovision Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
MAG Innovision is a Taiwan-headquartered manufacturer and provider of visual technology, specifically CRT monitors, liquid crystal displays, projectors, plasma displays, and HDTV technology. The company was founded by William Wang when he was 26 years old.In the early to mid-1990s, its products were one of the top-rated in the market for computer CRT monitors in the North American market, alongside Sony, NEC, and Panasonic. Since the late 1990s and 2000s, these companies have been displaced by ViewSonic, and more recently by Samsung and LG, as the latter were at the forefront of fledgling LCD technology.
An employee shared this review in a forum, "The salary is way too small, employees always seem to be angry. Management doesn't seem to know what's happening in the world of tech. NO growth in this compnay. Look elsewhere and save your sanity."
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) says"I quit my work here or rather they forced me to quit because of the heavy workloads and the false appreciation that I received here. The thing here is, if you don't speak up you'll get drowned by the heavy workloads that they will give you with no financial rewards, recognition or appreciation to back it up. And when you speak up, they will say sorry and promise you promotion but that is their way to get rid of you. Promotion spells bigger responsibilities to them which means more workloads. They just don't want smart people speaking up to them."
Account Executive (Former Employee) says"They organize team meetings in which only the favorites are appreciated and given shout outs. If you are not a favorite but a hard worker, you will be ignored. Don't bother joining this company if you expect a few words of appreciation from the management now and then. They paid some attention to team-building efforts."
Social Media Specialist (Former Employee) says"Most people, especially those at the top-level think that bragging about their work and how amazing they are is a way to motivate others. They are so self-involved that they hardly notice the real hard-working guys like me who did all the work for which they took the credit.Free coffee as I can't work without my coffee boosts."
Marketing (Former Employee) says"Everyone is extremely intimidated of the CEO becaue of his attitude and mood swings. Tip toe-ing around all the time. Great team, but constantly a revolving door and your ideas become null and void. I have never seen the endless hours and weekend work we put in ever come to fruition. Doesn't help especially when the leader doesn't know what he is doing or wants. There's too much drama in the workplace and scheming."
Employee (Former Employee) says"I can't bear working here with the current CEO. Upper management just lets the CEO humiliate one employee after another. He is manipulative, and he will do anything to get his way. I don't know how this company is able to survive given how incompetent and unprofessional its CEO is.You will be able to leave eventually."
Employee (Former Employee) says"The CEO is a terrible human being who takes pleasure in humiliating others and making them take the blame. Upper management literally does nothing to help employees, especially regarding client concerns. They will just let you be humiliated and get blamed for reasons that are partly out of your control. The CEO is an incompetent scum who has to be replaced or else.Absolutely nothing is good about working here."
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) says"CEO needs to realize he needs to replace himself. He is manipulative and doesn't show compassion to employees. He expects everyone to work for long hours, yet the pay is inadequately low. People are afraid to make even simple mistakes or else they will get ridiculed in front of everybody."
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) says"The management throws you under the bus for everything, be it client complaints or any mistakes in the internal tasks. The management never helps you to learn but is great at nitpicking. You may feel like you can never be right or do anything correctly."
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) says"Poor management. Sometimes the workload was too much to bear. You would also be required to working long hours providing for no work life balance. Too much pressure!"
Marketing (Former Employee) says"There's always too much to do because managers would give and appoint what they are supposed to do with their people. Aside from your official tasks and job responsibilities, you'll have extra work to do and you have to prioritize it. Because of this, you couldn't finish your job on time and have to work extra hours, and of course not get paid for overtime."
Quality Control Inspector (Former Employee) says"Work was hard and strenuous. Lots of problems with inexperienced workers. I felt I could and should have been advanced. after trying they just kicked me down to mu original position.VacationPoor managment"
CNC SUPERVISOR / PROGRAMER (Former Employee) says"Nothing good to say!People can stab you in the back.Management has no idea on what it takes to run a machine shop.Co-workers are like management have no idea.Nothing was hard.Leaving.nonmanagement and employees"
Full Support Analyst Macintosh (Former Employee) says"Innovision is a good company but the salary and the benefits should be better. Sometimes the employer delayed our pay and this is not fair with the functioners of the company."
Sales Associate/ Doctor's Technician (Former Employee) says"The Doctor's that were at Innovision years ago were amongst the best in the area. Although they have changed things since I have worked there and the Doctors that used to be there are no longer."
Receptionist/Administration (Former Employee) says"A typical day at work at Burnley medical practice is busy jugging multiple clinics constantly booking in patients and faxing/chasing up referrals Managment was there but in meeting never took on the improvments that could help with the work load (appointment Slots, vaccinces supplies and office supplies) Hardest Part of the job was the communication Most enjoyable part of the job was when i have help someone to obtain postive news or to have made someone smile/be more bright from they came in.fellow receptionist were friendly and welcomingpoor communication"
Certified Optician/Sales (Former Employee) says"A typical day at Innovision would include opening and preparing the showroom for incoming patients, preparing charts and insurance, greeting an assiting customers with their exams, as well as lens needs. My experience here lead me to understand correct style fittings for patients which helped me present more clearly the features and benifits of the lenses. The staff was also positive and willing to help which made it easier to work there. The hardest part at innovistion was making sure everyone was on the same page with the customers and attendence was not good which would lead a heavier work load.Great selection of eyeglasses, fun to work for"
